About WUPP
Workshop on Ultra-Precision Processing for Wide Band Gap Semiconductors, 2015 (WUPP-2015) will be held in Fukuoka, Japan on Aug. 20-21. This workshop will contribute to the further advancement of wide bandgap semiconductor devices through mixing researchers in wide bandgap semiconductors and ultra-precision processing. This workshop takes over the successful international meeting of WUPP-2013 in USA and WUPP-2014 in UK. As the third international workshop, we will discuss themes related to III-Nitrides, silicon carbide, and diamond. The
organizing committees plan to provide an opportunity for researchers in semiconductors and ultra-precision processing to interact and discuss various issues related these important wide bandgap materials from bulk preparation to device manufacturing for next–generationdevice realization. The workshop is “by invitation only” and is limited to about 80 participants to maximize the interaction.
